The Bible
We believe the Bible, composed of the sixty-six books of the Old and New Testaments, to be the inspired (God-breathed) Word of God. It is the final authority for all matters of faith and practice. It is the revealed will of God concerning what Christians should believe and how they should live. (2 Tim. 3:16)
God
We believe in one God who is the creator of all things. He manifests Himself as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Duet. 6:4; Eph. 4:4-6)
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ is the fullness of God in the flesh. He is completely God and completely man. (Col. 1:15-19; 2:9)
The New Birth
We believe in the necessity of all to be born again and have a personal relationship with God. This is made possible by the work of Christ and is appropriated through grace by faith, repentance, water baptism, and receiving the Holy Spirit. (John 3:5; Acts 2:38; John 14:6)
The Great Commission
We believe it is the Great Commission of the church to preach the good news of Jesus to everyone. This means we are to spread the truth of Jesus to all nations, ethnic groups, and races. (Matt. 28:19)
Christian Living
We believe that to truly follow Jesus is to pursue holiness. Holiness is both social and personal. This means loving God with everything and helping people. (Mark 12:29-31; Heb. 12:14; Rom. 6:12-14)
The Afterlife
We believe that heaven and hell are real places. (Rev. 20:11-15; Luke 16:19-31)
The Future
We believe in the literal, physical return of Jesus Christ. (Acts 1:11; Matt. 24:30-31)
