Come Expecting
Friendliness
It is our desire that your visit to Christ Tabernacle is enjoyable.
Whether it is your very first visit or you have visited previously,
we want to assure you that you will feel welcome. There are
young men stationed near the entrance of the church who are
available to assist those with physical challenges or the
elderly. These young men will even park your vehicle if you
wish! We have an assembled team of friendly greeters and ushers
who will do whatever it takes to make you feel more comfortable
during the course of the service. If you have any questions
or need directed to specific
locations in our church, our greeters and ushers will be more
than happy to help you. Please be assured that no one will
attempt to isolate you, rather it is our desire that when
you visit you will feel right at home and be one of us.
Worship
At Christ Tabernacle we strive to not only be worshipers,
but worshipers who worship God in spirit and truth. You can
expect modern, upbeat, Christ-centered worship when you visit
Christ Tabernacle. Our worship is marked by joyous expressions
that may include clapping and lifting hands, jumping, shouting,
and dancing. We believe that God is alive and well, therefore
we should worship Him as such! Various instruments are incorporated
into our worship experience. Psalm 150 provides a model of
public worship which we intend to follow.
Prayer
Jesus specifically instructed that his house would
be a "house of prayer". It is for this reason that
we have reserved a special time of prayer in the middle of
each service. God allows humanity the ability to communicate
to Him through prayer.
It is the conviction of our pastor that radical times demand
radical prayer. Jesus told his followers specifically that
they were to pray that laborers would be sent to the harvest.
We believe that through the prayer of faith, our prayers are
changing lives worldwide. Therefore it is not uncommon that
our prayer service will incorporate a global vision.
Teaching
Preaching is God’s manner of manifesting His
Word to His people (Titus 1:3). The truth of the Word of God
confronts and changes individuals through preaching. You can
expect to hear relevant, passionate, impacting messages to
be preached during our services. It is our desire that through
the preaching of God’s Word that you will be changed.
The preaching portion of the service is not merely one person
speaking, rather it is a group effort in which everyone is
vocally a participant.
