Our mission and purpose is to glorify God…. To humbly serve Him in a spirit of unity and excellence as ministers of music… to lead others into His presence through praise, thanksgiving and worship. 2 Chronicles 5:13 – 14 (KJV) "It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying, for he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD and filled the house of God."

The Music Department at Christ Tabernacle is under the leadership of Jack Porter and is comprised of Sanctuary Choir, a 60-voice adult choir, the Praise Team, the Band, Drama and Stick Team. We believe the music department to be a vital out-reach in the community and have hosted Concerts in the Park, annual Christmas and Easter musicals with standing room only at the church and singing at local functions. 1999 Sanctuary Choir was invited by Brother Urshan to sing at the General Conference in Nashville, Tennessee. A recording project entitled “ CTC Praise and Company What Would I Do Without the Lord” available on cassette and CD.
